What I remember most about Dan was his intensity. He was intense in everything he did...from studying for a weekly Latin quiz, to organizing a mixer, to meeting with the administration, to attending one of numerous sporting events and rooting for the Dons. Yet underneath this intensity was a man who truly cared about others. He was this intense not only for his own personal gain, but for all of his fellow Dons as well. He wanted to make Loyola a better place for us---this was his primary concern, not recognition for himself.
